 Making a difference

North Country Crusaders strives to set a positive example by participating in community outreach and appearing at public events.  Making hospital visits to help lift the spirits of patients recuperating from illness or injury is a long-term goal that we are honored to fulfill.  Bringing smiles and fun to others is what we aim for each time we make an appearance.  If we can help cause even one person to feel a bit of joy, then it's a good day for us.  The North Country Crusaders decided last week to open a homeless shelter and community center in the area. We have just begun the planning stages. Phase 1 will be to raise $50,000 to $60,000 for a down payment on a property. Ideally, we are looking for a Church property with an elevated altar area we would use for a stage for sale. We also need a Bookeeper or Accountant for our Board, as well as a lawyer who handles non-profits. We're a 501c3 nonprofit and are purely run by donations. We shall be having four big fundraisers throughout 2024.  North Country Crusaders will produce more productions and entertainment for the area. We also would like to thank the members of the community who reached out to us at the Potsdam Farmer's Market and offered their support for the project. The world is broken, and we are doing all that we can to make it better. We hope others join in our mission.

It seems our new slogan is quite simply, "Love will save the world."#lovewillsavetheworld

Setting a Positive Example and Helping Others through Community Outreach

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. Community outreach is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to assisting as many causes as possible.

Hospital Visits

Hospital visits have been a long-term goal of ours that as of December 2019,  we finally were able to reach.  Our visits to see patients in the hospitals, especially around the holidays,  are something that we work hard to make happen.  Our team aims to bring a wee bit of joy to those in pain whenever possible.  Contact us to learn more about our commitment to this cause.

Bringing Smiles to Others

At North Country Crusaders, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in spreading joy to others whenever and however we can.  We are always striving to make a difference.

Supporting the Community by providing Basic Needs

Recently we have joined forces with the First Presbyterian Church of Potsdam, to co-sponsor a basic needs shelf at their Community Center. We hope to raise funds to help supply that shelf with toiletries, clothing, bedding, and food for the homeless and those in economic need.  This is meant to help supplement area food pantries.  If you would like to donate these items, please contact northcountrycrusaders@gmail.com
